Dispensary

Adjacent to Maharaja Agrasen Bhawan, at Agrasen Point Complex, the trust runs a dispensary with the basic aim of taking care of, the Health aspect of under-privileged ones with medicines for nominal registration charges only. Morning (9 AM to 1 PM) to Evening (5 PM to 9 PM) OPD shifts are operative round the year. Besides on weekdays, specialists Drs too render their services.

Medical Store

The Trust expanding its medical services to common mass, it has recently started to run a Relief Rate Medical Store wherein genuine medicines with guarantee are being sold out on maximum possible discounts. Since the Trust operates with the principle of No profit – No loss hence discounts are extended realistic.

Dialysis

Feeling the need to reach out to kidney patients of weaker sections of our society, the Trust has established and is running a Free Dialysis Center wherein most modern machines and other infrastructure have been put into place. Thus a large number of needy patients are being helped out with generous donation by philanthropic individuals.     

Shav-Vahini Services

Open to All – To ensure that individual is carried with honor for his/her last Cremation, the Trust runs and operates a fully AC Shav-Vahini (Vehicle) for nominal charge towards its maintenance and operability.

Adoption of SMC Primary School

With sole aim/intention of helping out the weaker lot students of society, the Trust has adopted Maharaja Agrasen Shala CityLight – Surat from Municipal Administration. Sine adoption in the year 2013, the Trust has tremendously improved the physical infrastructure and curricular/non-curricular activities of the school. From initial student strength of 100, now the strength has increased to 550 approx and the students are getting proper education as well as priveledges their needs such as school uniform and other facilities at par with any other private school in the city.

Mass Marriage of Divyangs

The Trust, in its endeavor to come to the aid of the Divyangs of the society, its lady wing i.e Mahila Shakha organizes a mass marriage ceremony of physically disabled pairs every year. Approx 25 such pairs tie their martial knot every year in a big event organized at Maharaja Agrasen Bhawan with a big feast. After the marriage at the time of Vidai(departure), the newlywed couples are given into offerings almost all necessary household items worth Rs. 1 Lakh Approx so that they can start their new journey in Life with comforts.

Matrimonial Assistance Services

With a view to assist/provide a suitable platform to marriageable youths (boys & girls) of the society, the Trust has formed an exclusive Samiti i.e Vaivahik Samiti which sits at Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan every Sunday 04 PM to 6 PM wherein a large number of parents along with their wards visit and exchange the bio-data. Thus as on date, the Trust has been able to create a vast databank of prospective brides or grooms which is proving highly helpful to the aspirants.

Eye and Cadaver Donation Services

The Trust through its Netra Evam Deh Dan Samitee is vigorously putting its all-out efforts to create mass awareness amongst the people to donate eyes or the body organs in case any death takes place. As a result, the trust holds the Guniese Book record to have the maximum number of eye donation in Surat City especially by Agrawal Families. Slowly and slowly people are getting awareness towards Cadaver donations too.

Educational Relief Services

The Trust views Education as the basic need of Social Development. Weeker section families who find it difficult to bear the school fees of their children, for such students without any discrimination based on caste or creed, the Trust disburses approx 20 lakhs every year towards the school fees of weaker section students.

Medical Relief Services

Mahavir Hospital- a number of patients especially weaker ones, they visit the hospital.  To help out such patients, the Trust allocates a fund of 5 Lakh every year. Out of which a definite amount is disbursed to one and everyone who approaches without any distinction of caste and creed. Besides the said, special relief is also granted in cases of serious/accidental/terminal nature.

Donation to Cancer Hospital

To be contributive to cancer patients and their treatment, the Trust has made a donation of Rs. 25 Lakh towards up-gradation of machinery and other infrastructure of the Cancer Hospital, situated within the campus of New Civil Hospital – Surat.

Donation to Traffic Education Trust

To partner the cause of Safe City Surat, the Trust has made a contribution of Rs. 11 Lakh towards the ambitious CCTV project of Traffic Education Trust, an arm of Surat City Police.
